어원은 고대 영어 ofer입니다. ofer는 "beyond(넘어서[초과하여]); above(위에), in place or position higher than(더 높은 곳에); upon(위에); in(안에); across(가로질러), past(지나서); more than(더 많은); on high(높게)" 라는 뜻을 갖고 있습니다.
